Steve Prelipp

Steve Prelipp has a uniquely strong background in operations management. His executive experience includes leading operations for 1,800 drivers at Schneider National. He also has been president of two truckload carriers.

 

Since moving from an executive position to a consulting role in 1998. Steve has done many projects to improve the processes and results of operations departments. He has completed a number of in depth projects that have resulted in major improvements in operations management and driver retention.

Based on this work the Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) asked him to create a Fleet Manager Certification Program to train managers working in operations. This has been a highly successful program that has been sold by the TCA for a number of years.

Steve has a long and impressive track record of developing and delivering high quality training. Examples include:

  • Trained in excess of 150 driver recruiters to improve their sales skills and their recruiting results

  • Developed and delivered the Truckload Carriers Association High Performing Fleet Manager course to 150 people

  • Released the High Performing Fleet Manager course 

  • Trained over 50 Customer Service Representatives to improve their sales skills and exponentially increase their daily sales results

  • Trained numerous people on developmental skill including leadership, communication, understanding strengths and other topics
